Recommend me some £20 in ear headphones please.

Probably been asked loads of times before, but my searching skills fail me!

Need some headphones to plug into my Nokia 6220 (through a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter) and go under my ear defenders at work, as the Nokia supplied ones are rubbish, but I don't want to spend too much for the 16 or so hours a week they'll get used. Cheers.

CX 500. They dont have the greatest rep but they are still a good buy imo. AVailable for £18 at a famous etailer

You're right about the rep, most of the customer reviews on that etailer site are pretty terrible, think I'll only buy them if no other suggestions are forthcoming, cheers anyway!

I have had CX500 for almost 1.5 years now and they have been fine, block out nearly all background noise, they don't rape my ears when I turn them up massively too. Plus hard wearing as I have been travelling the world for the last 9 months and they've been exposed to everything. For less than #20 they're the best I can come up with

Anyone know how the Ultimate Ears Metro.Fi 100's compare to the CX500's? Thanks.

Sennheiser CX300's are very good for the money, my pair did just break however, but great sound for about £15ish.

JVC Air Cushions are good around that price too. If you decide to go for Sennheisers buy from a reputable retailer to avoid fakes.

no no no no, you want some sony EX 85's tbh they are one of the most reccomended budget head phone and they are half your budget. i tried some and am about to buy some after my CX300 died. i think that the ex 85's are definately worth a look mate and like a i said you will find them for under £10 with free postage in one google. there is also a mod for the sony's thas meant to really boost the sound of them to 'phones that are worth a lot more then they are.
