FFS I want ITV HD:(.

Really isn't much on ITV HD anyway. Like one program a day going by their schedule. Tonight is Jarhead, but again it has breaks like the SD channel, so i personally find it, and any other film on a channel with breaks, very hard to watch.

The England game is on Wednesday, but other than football (for some), there isn't really much to get excited about. As said ^^^ adverts are annoying, but that's slightly offset by recording it and start watching it at least half an hour after it's started.

Can't record/pause/rewind ITV HD on the Sky HD boxes since its an "Other Channel".

Its the the whole knowing there is another HD channel available, and not being able to see it thats annoying .. grrr

Finally got round to setting up my Pace 9F3003 that I acquired off a mate today, used it briefly with the old EPG, put it in standby and the next time I turned it on the new EPG was there. Like it a lot so far, disabled the mini TV though because I didn't like pressing select twice to watch something.

IV SEEN ON A WEBSITE THAT ALL PACE MODELS ARE NOW DONE, HAS ANY ONE GOT A PACE BOX THATS NOT GOT THE NEW EPG?

No, for the reasons you state.

The new EPG is on the update stream now anyway, so you can use the backup trick to force it to update :)

To be honest the positives certainly don't outweigh the fact it is terribly slow and a complete **** when reacting to button presses.

Need to clear that 1tb HDD and start watching recordings, down to under 20% :D

It could be down to the plasma display interferring with the remote IR. I've noticed that it can be quite unresponsive on occasion, but when moving closer or even directly next to the box the issue disappears. It's another reason why I want a Xantech IR system in the new house :D

Also.. <20%!!! I'm down to 75% and it feels like I have too much stuff that could be removed. Who needs the last 6 episodes of Big Brother..

(the mrs apparently!! :mad::rolleyes: )

I concur. I went from a Pace V2 normal sky+ box to a Pace HD box, and while it still had the old EPG the increase in responsiveness was very noticeable. Paging through the listings was almost instant. Now since the new EPG its actually less responsive than the EPG on the Pace V2 :( I've already had one indident of deleting two programs in a stack as the first button press took so long to register. Sideways scrolling to get to Sky Sports say is painful compared to the old EPG, I've had to force myself to learn the number shortcuts to get things done.

My HD box has stopped functioning properly and it is suggested that the EPG is the culprit, (loosing signal - switch box off and on perfect)
