What's your favourite picture you've ever taken and why?

I quite like this one:

Why? Because you get the feeling you're there in the middle of the crowd (at least, that was the intention).

This first shot of mine has many faults but i like it. Not just for the shot but because of the time and effort that went into it. It was only taken on a Sony bridge camera and took ages. I was hand holding in one hand and dropping the strawberry in the other on my hands and knees. You can imagine how many attempts i had especially concidering the shutter lag!

And this is a more recent photo i like but this time from a Nikon D40 which i bought christmas.

Rob.

Every time i see or hear of a Kestrel, It just reminds me of Frankie Boyle on Mock the Week

"Lets see how many fruit pastels it takes to choke a Kestrel!"

Im afraid thats gone straight over my head:o

I work nights you see, dont see much tv, poor me. But i do get nice long weekends:cool:

I think the best advice i was ever given was by someone on this forum(messiah kahn)

Damn right! :D Do you have your camera with you now? I've got mine with me to work today (But then I do have a photoshoot this afternoon);).

Anyway, my favourite shot;

Shot right at the end of a day with very few other keepers. Tried a few different settings, but this was the very last shot taken. It's one of the very few shots I have where I really wouldn't change anything. :)

It'd be this:

It just worked well, there were several precursor shots that sparked the idea and then we posed for it. It ended up a pretty much perfect shot and not requiring any subsequent editing.

My little brother.

We had a little walk around adventure, decided to go up the Spinnaker Tower to have a little look around. He was looking out at the skyline whilst I was crouching down, shooting the views down below. Looked up and saw him there - a quick swap of lens and snap.

Absolutley love that shot Steve, i often show people it to.

Anyho, my fav so far.

And one of my favs from a trek round London last month....
This place was silent, empty and had quite an atmosphere.

Not quite up to the standard of some of the other shots here but nevermind.

I've only just got into photography and tbh looking through my photos, they all suck.

This is probably my fav. I just like the lighting, thats what the lighting was like early one winter morning. Could have used this for the reflection comp and the golden hour comp as well :D.

So far I think this is one of my favourites.

Had quite good feedback about it along with being happier with the progress I've made taking action shots at the football. Only been taking photographs 6 months since getting my 450D so really I'm probably of the same thinking as photoshop, think he said it anyway......probably haven't taken my favourite shot yet ;)
