Car delivery driver

This may be best put into motors but who knows....

Any idea how to get into the "business" of being a car delivery driver. Like where a car may be delivered in London but the owner wants it up in Aberdeen.

What would something like that all involve? Own insurance? Guessing it's not a full time earner but may help while at uni.

I may be wrong but I dont think many garages would touch you because of age(assuming you are only a young student)...I know with our trade plates and insurance it was no drivers under 25.

The couple of guys I knew that did it only really made any money if they hitched back as they got a set figure for doing the delivery. If you can get a return trip then you might do better.

Best thing would be to approach some garages/ hire firms but I think age will be well against you.

Yeah think age will be against you. Whats wrong with getting a job part-time in tesco's or something?

i knew someone that did that, they all ended up in hospital.
