i have got a free copy of Grid with a new g-card but at the momment all i have to play it on is the keyboard which is not the best. So i was thinking that the logitech g25 might be good but i am worried that it might be a waste of money and i won't use it anymore once i finish the game. just how good is it and is it worth buying for one game?

grid is reportadly very poor with wheels.. Download the demo of GTR evolution, and see what you recon to it.. IMO it is very fun (and im surprised by that) ... the precision you need to apply does make the driving experience more enjoyable, and i would say to fully master that particular game you need a wheel... For grid though.. get an xbox 360 controller
I really want a g25, playing games with a wheel are great! Whilst being arcady grid would probably be way more fun with a wheel and theres plenty more games around to get some use out of it. Check out need for speed shift, looks very promising!
If you want a wheel play the demos of some of the racing sims, and see what you recon, if you like it, then id advise getting a wheel... After playing grid on xbox 360 pad and playing the demo of gtr gtr is soo much more realistic and more challenging.. also hopefully need for speed shift should be an amasing game.. having the graphics of grid, but a bit more realistic

I used to have this wheel but had to sell it. It's by far the best I have ever used, but for the full experience you will want to use it with a proper simulation, i.e. LFS, GTRR, etc. It also works on both the PC and PS3, and quality is top notch. You won't regret the purchase. For more arcade style games, Test Drive Unlimited is really good and makes use of the clutch pedal, so its like driving a real car. No cheating!
