Oblivion, Morrowind & Cthulhu on STEAM !!!

Personally I played morrowind after oblivion, and enjoyed it, it was superior to oblivion in a number of ways imo, the user interface and the leveling system for example. There is a morrowind mod that gives it oblivion graphics iirc.
Not quite, but it's a decent improvement and makes it more than playable, but the lack of speech and having to read everything coupled with having to walk everywhere is becomes so very dull. if they lunched a speech pack and stuck the ability to ride horses then it would be equal to oblivion in my opinon

Do you listen to what the npc's have to say? Personally I just find it annoying because it's much faster to read the text. Reminds me of when ffx first came out and the npc's talked, everyone was amazed at first, then it just got annoying having to skip through all the talking.

Morrowind with all its expansions sell for £5 at a certain 2nd hand game shop. Lets hope they can match it... bet they cant.

but the lack of speech and having to read everything coupled with having to walk everywhere is becomes so very dull.

lol

I believe there's a mod for that but then there's a mod for just about anything you could ever want in Morrowind.
Yup there is. I just wish it was built into the game as I hate reinstalling games like Morrowind and Obibiobibn only to find that my old savegames no longer work because I haven't all the mods I previously used :)

I've got into the habit of storing all my game iso's and related patches/mods on a seperate hard drive, that way installs are super fast and I have all the files I'll ever need. Don't need any no-cd patches either because all the games can be mounted if they require a cd.

lol, I was literally looking to buy oblivion off steam yesterday as I lost my DVD of it and want to try out the mod pack recently posted here.

I'll have to have a look at this.

Morrowind is far better than oblivion, altho shivering isles wasnt bad as it was much more morrowind like. I might get morrowind on steam (have it on disk) with the expansions if its cheap enough. Its one of those games i would like to keep.

No idea if they'll work with Windows 7 but assume they'll be patched to do so if they don't currently.

Just had a look at them and god knows which to go for if you wanted to as there's so many games of the year editions, one was £7 ish the next one up was £12 ish then the next one £17 ish and I'm still thinking what the ****. I think there's one package with them all in for £14.61 but don't quote me on that.

M.

P.S. 20% off until the 19th.

Morrowind and oblivion should do, they worked fine on vista (32 & 64 bit) though not installed on win 7 yet, though I see no reason why they shouldnt if they work on vista perfectly.

For those too lazy the prices are; £6.33 (normally £7.91) for MW GOTY and Cthlhu while Oblivion GOTY is £9.74 (£12.17) or with Knights of the Nine (and the other dlc???) for £12.17 (£15.21).

Can get MW & Oblivion (with or without KotN) as a pack as well for a slight saving.

Judging from those random prices it looks like theyve taken the US dollar price and put it into google with $ to £.

EDIT: beaten due to my () and proper prices :p

I have. It's very good - surprisingly underrated.

yeah I liked it, it's quite well balanced with difficulty not being too taxing to ruin the scares that come along. At least after trying to complete certain sections a few times my frustration with the 'puzzles' didn't blind me to what was actually going on ingame or totally ruining the immersion :D
