Oh sorry, missed your post. There are normally some linked to or discussed on the Skinning hideout on the SI Forums. Alternatively SortItOutSI.net will have lots of stuff. :)
 
iv checked out siosi, but they have loadss. was wondering what would be recommended by users here.

I'm using Flex09 on FM. It is just the standard FM skin but modified a bit to make the colours a bit better. :)

I don't bother with megapacks really so I can't really advise on them. Download a few and see which ones you like.

I am on my forth season and Im stuck in the same league. No transfer funds, cant buy people even if free because of wages.

Anyone suggest a way out of bottom leagues?
 
I just cant manage to complete a season on this game, my first few runs of losses and i end up giving up and starting a new save. I wish i could force myself to carry on, and not feel like giving up every time something bad happens.

I usually have that feeling after every season, the 1st few games are a chore, then you get to build your team over the years

At the moment i'm playing Villa for some reason, having an ok time thus far - just beat chelsea 2-1 in the league cup quarter final with two unlikely scorers, and with my immense luck i could have drawn west ham or wigan or the like, but no. I've drawn Manchester United instead, now i get to watch the team i support trounce me :-(
 
My save corrupted :(. I had spent days upon days making Rangers the best team in Europe (won the champs league 3 times in a row and was no. 1 in the coefficients) by spam-buying hot prospects and wonderkids from other teams. It was hard work and now it's gone :(.
 
I wouldn't have thought FM would be corrupting games. Something else could have caused a problem. Perhaps an antivirus trying to scan the savegame whilst it was being saved?
 
well i got draged back into this again :(

this time made it easy on my self and started with manu rather than wigan.

curently on a 10 game unbeaten streak and a 5 win streak, have won community shield and super cup and am top of the league with only 1 defeat.

have scouted and transfered in carlos eduardo for the left wing who is hopefully going to be better than wayne rooney.

also brought in david santon whos ment to be better than wes brown to take over right back in a few years. couldnt really do much with only being given 10mill to spend in opening window. thought it was a bit low for goal as winning the league

tosic and nani have been awsome so far both with many assists and goals.

got a 4-0 win over liverpool and a 3-0 over man city with a hatrick for ronaldo with 3 penalties :p
 
Only £10m? Did you try asking the board for more transfer money? Or if that didn't work sometimes asking for more wages works, which you can then move to transfer budget. :)

I think this works better when you set your reputation nice and high like an ex-international footballer. ;)
