Hello all,

Does anyone know how many keys should come with a 2006 plate Ford Fiesta Zetec Climate?

My parents have bought one and they have a fully functioning remote key fob that unlocks the car and then a blue topped key that doesn't have the fob.

Is this right or should there be two fobs and the blue top 'master' key??

Cheers,

Cheers,

normally one of each, so you've got the right keys.

its extra £££ to get more remotes.

yep you only get one remote key and the blue one, I also got some plastic flimsy thing, dunno what that was for.

All the Fords i've had with fobs were like that. My current car (Seat) is like that too. My mum got two fobs with her Micra though :p

That's a bit pants. My mum shares the car and she wants the benefit of remote central locking too!!

I think we might take the car back, I wonder if they've still got the car they part ex'd??

Just buy a another key and fob off ebay for £50 and get it cut for about a tenner and programme it yourself to the car. There are plenty of guides on the net on how to do it.

You should have asked what keys come with the car when they bought it really... with a second hand car you cant assume it will have this and that without asking.

Cheers for the advice mate, I know the most about cars in my whole family and they've been sold down the river when they bought a car without me there.
