childhood? hardly i never said truely young people, i am talking about 14+ or so, by this age i had very much decided where i was going with my life and had made very important sdecisions in life, a lot of kids need more respect and to be understood. i have made it to where i aimed and stuck to all my plans i am not encouraging anything when it is going to happen. why should someone that is set on something happening and have made a lifestyle choice have to struggle? i see your points and think they are valid but i remember being the person asking for this stuff to be bought for them like it was yesterday and i guess this influences me

i think that i would rather buy fags for kids as i have stated and then the money is being included towards tax's rather then them getting it at a knocked off price, i wonder if the sales to underage youths was completely dropped how much the sales would decrease?

I wonder how much extra cost to the taxpayer funding treatment for these children who may very well grow up with all sorts of lovely illnesses as a result from smoking.

Often they don't work, or made with artificial THC/Cannabis.

I have known a few people who have needed cannabis to deal with what they were going through...

When I was in Cali a little over 3 years ago you could get a prescription for 55 usd and I thought that was pretty awesome. Sure I'm going to get a lot of guff for saying that but it's just my opinion.

im not encouraging anybody to have sex! nor drugs, or smoking. im just saying if they're going to do it let them get on with it...what does it concern anyone but hte parents?

well if we know that they are going to do it as you have stated then why do we not want them protected why do you not think it is a better option to give them condoms if they are going to have sex? this is not about encouragement this is the simple question of would you buy alcohol for minors which i no longer would which has developed to other things, you are over reading things and makeing people liek me seem like we have no morals when infact we are just more down to earth. would you rather there were a group of youths asking people to buy them fags infront of a shop intimidating allsorts of people with just there presents or would you rather that had their smokes like they want and were continuing along with their life?

But alas i never buy kids drink, only as back when i was underage i either had friends who were about old enough or had the intelegence to get a resonable fake id and knew where to use it/how not to abuse it

At fourteen years old, they are hardly 'adults' able to make reasonable decisions about drugs. They are almost purely influenced on what is "cool". As far as I am concerned, they are still children, they are still in a developing stage of their life.

It is true, that many children find themselves acting out because they feel misunderstood, but I still don't see how giving them the means to harm their bodies and do drugs is justified by the fact that they want to do it.

I can't really say how much the sales figures would drop, but they would be worth it.
