Worst covers you've heard?

robbie williams song two,

my chemical romance, song two

For gods sake, leave it alone, no one should cover song two because it's not as easy as it seems

Any rendition of Somewhere Over The Rainbow, especially if it involves grown women dressed as teenagers or... (spits across right arm) actually sung by children. The original song is awful, it was in fact so awful it was deleted from original cinema version of Wizard Of Oz because audience and producers hated it. It's boring, it has progression of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, it has no variation between all three verses, it stretches into loooooongest whining and seemingly lasts forever. It belongs on the back shelf of a film studio in first half of last century and the only passable, bearable rendition of it was in Muppets Go To Hollywood, mainly because it was finally placed where it truelly belonged.

Oh, and this:
(youtube embedding doesn't work, so clickity -

by god your right that is bloody awfull, mind you it is very hard to cover musebut tbh the bands should realize this before they try to do it

Nobody does it better, covered by Radiohead.

It defies my ability to adequately describe it. I love it because it's so cringingly bad.

Are you kidding that's one of my favourite covers. I'm not a radiohead fan, in fact I've actively grown to dislike them since Kid A but I really enjoyed that one.

Under the bridge by all saints made me want to scream
and jump of a bleeding bridge.

The original had real pain and feeling the cover was just painfull.

Bloody tough song to cover though. Both in terms of vocals and guitar difficulty.

Don't think its THAT bad tbh.

Its just his pop-punk vocal style that kills it and the fact that hes waving his arms around for half of it, you cant really make out the guitars and they wouldnt sound the same anyway due to different equiptment for different genres.

Comfortably Numb - The Scissor Sisters

It hurt my ears.

Hallelujah - That bint off of the x-factor

The song already had plenty of excellent versions, why did it need another (crap) one?
