HD555's sounding quieter

Hey all,

I use my HD555's on my TV if I play Rock Band on the 360, and I've found that, since using them, I've turned the TV up to quite a loud volume, then the next time I use it, I'd need to turn the volume up even higher to achieve the same sound.

It is as if everytime I use them on the TV I need to set it louder or it will be too quiet!
Am I just imagining this? Is it a sign that my headphones are failing? Or is there something wrong with my TV?

I think you are most likely imagining it.

A headphone amplifier would help immensely though.

I have looked into amps in the past but they are so expensive :eek:

The CMOYs are not that expensive....

I have a mini3 I built the other week that has a rechargeable battery and charger...but that's a bit more expensive

The headphone socket/circuitry on the TV is likely to be the culprit as it will be very cheap components and probably introduce hiss/noise.
