Is it possible to get reasonable insurance?

I’m 22 and have had my licence since December 2004 and have been a named driver on my mum’s insurance since then, and drive the car every now and then when I’m home from uni.

I have now finished uni and am looking to get a car of my own.
Is it possible to get insurance for something in group 10 bearing in mind that I live in a b13 postcode which if I’m right is high risk and I also had a minor accident in 2005 which was my fault.

Insurance is a rip off at the mo, i struggled with my last car, and it isnt much better with my new one..

No you just didn't shop around for a good deal, you quoted a Focus for less than your Clio despite your Clio being many many groups lower.

Hmm, I saved around 20% by moving from an area that site says is rated E to one rated F.
I would take the ratings with a pinch of salt.
