gaming in uni halls

Although I love internet & gaming i'm glad I didn't have any internet access when I was in the halls. Although I only spent 3 months in them before getting kicked and banned, it was a legendary 3 months of orgies, drugs and general slutty behavior.

It's not really about drinking or drugs though, its more about meeting lots of women and humping them, loudly.

If your with 'Unite' just forget about it. They are A'hole when it comes to anything like that.

I was with Unite at Imperial and while they did eventually allow games to be played, pings were horrible as well as downloads. You can forget about it in the evenings, it was impossible to do anything...

I posted earlier in this thread. No games are blocked, steam works, all multiplayer games work. p2p and torrents work but if you're caught you get a warning. I don't use them anymore because you get a constant 1.2MB/s download speed so I use rapidshare.

It has the (I think) voted best students union in the country 2 years running and it really is good! There's a few places to go in town but most people just go to the union as it has several different clubs inside it.

Oh and torrents / gaming works like a treat. Can't host games though which was a downer :(
