Hi all,

I already made two mistakes buying a case that isn't big enough? Well it was big enough but I just want more space to play with..

I like the look of the HAF932, Is it any good?

What's the build quality and finish like?

From the pictures I like the large fan and windows.

hmm, I just think it looks pretty cool. I currently have a Antec 300 and just feel the 1200 is that much more exciting?

Its a shame the HAF 932 s black inside though

1200 has only minimal amount of more depth for long graphics cards so you would just end up wanting to change case for third time because of not having enough space to play with.
This is how much 1200 has depth:

And this how much E-ATX cases (like HAF) have:

I have the HAF coming tomorrow!

From what I found out after a fair bit of research and after having built my mates PC inside one I'd say its a very good choice. I can take some pics tomorrow if you'd like any specific views of it.

For the price I don't think you can get anything bigger.

Noooo! :D

Cool,

Whats you first thoughts?

Build quality?

Finish?

Size?

Any close up pictures?

Build Quality is good, very sturdy.

Finish is good also, you'll know by now that it's not black inside, thats a spray job for me.

Got some pics to show the size difference from my old case to this and some close ups as requested.

I've uploaded an album of pics - http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/Vari34/HAF?feat=directlink

Good to see you got the HAF :D

I need to spray mine inside some time but i think i might go with a colour scheme of dark blue and black as this goes with my blue and black razer stuff :D

Hi vari34,

Thanks for going to the trouble of that. I like the 4 fans you have added, do you think that will be louder though?

Thanks again

I like more now :)

I have a HAF too
and one good thing I only managed to break a clip unlike what happened to my armor which is uglyer than the HAF and has poor air flow.

the cooling in the HAF is amazing :O

Hopefully not too loud, I plan to hook them up to a fan controller and set them as low as possible while still getting good temps.

At any rate it'll be much quieter than my current set up :D

Let me know on the fans as it does look quality, and the fan controller would be good.. Im holding out to wednesday just in case it comes up on this week only but the chances of that are slim!!!

Put my old rig into the case and connected 3 of the 4 fans up (old psu doesn't have enough connectors...) and it's pretty loud as you'd expect. I don't have the fan controller yet but imagine I can get the noise way down. I'm also getting some light vibration through my desk, so might need to invest in some vibration dampening.

I have seen a 4 degree drop on the CPU (idle) just shifting my motherboard into this case not changing or reseating the cpu cooler. In my old case the extract fan at the back would be pumping hot air out, the only even warm air now is from my PSU. Both extract fans top and back are blowing out cold air.
