Fake Tan

missus chucked some on me stomach when i was asleep tother day, looked like an asian in the morning :(

dayum the stuff stains!

Some people have very dark skin. Is that wrong too? Should temporary skin lightening products just as much as commonplace as temporary skin darkening ones? Should there be advertising campaigns to make people think that very dark skin is wrong?

see micheal jackson for details....and how badly that can go!:D

I believe mustard is a healthier alternative, although she will need to shave more due to the increased hair growth.

Applied correctly, fake tan is no different to any other make-up girls wear really. Obviously, when either is overdone it looks ridiculous.

To look great with pale skin, you need to have a near on perfect complexion.

My old man uses Dove Moisturiser that adds some colour, got to admit it looks like the real deal, never would have guessed its fake tan. Great stuff.

Personally i prefer pale women, natural tan is alright but you could fake tan the hottest girl in the world and she would instantly become an orange **** and lose my respect.
Whoever invented fake take needs to die.

Fake tan is ten times worse than pale skin... Put her in therapy.

Because.....?

I imagine because the suns rays are getting stronger, less ozone or whatever. Studies show that skin cancer is massively on the rise in the UK - I can't remember the figures as I am at work at the moment, but I do remember it wasn't a gradual increase.

The leading reasons that experts give is that the suns rays are becoming more harsh, and people in the UK simply go "sun tan crazy" and don't half the time even bother to use sun tan lotion.

Do you know what UV is and what it does to skin?

When you do, you should realise that a high UV factor != a good sun tan.
It's burning your skin, you can get the beneficial sources from other places and let's face it, you don't even go for the benefits to your health.

Quite ironic in how you both said there's a lot of Ultraviolet radiation getting past our atmosphere and that it's a good time to expose yourself to it in a gain to make yourself look darker. Sure, slap on some sun tan to "protect" yourself.

I prefer having the natural skin colour my body has.

Surely you must know this is an expression?

I suppose my days of going outside are over until I get a bee-keeper suit or something.

Also, it's not really irony, it's just stupidity really.

For it to be irony it would end up getting quite deep and confusing. :p

Open up my computer to full screen, sit naked and fall asleep, seems to be the geeks way these days

lol

on a serious note, i burn like a lobster after being out for 5 mins, BUT, its cool :D i dont bother with sun cream as if i put some on, i dont burn at all...

i like to burn, only a little though, as it gives me maybe 1 day after 3 days of burning to have a tan :D

and on that day, i strut my stuff

this is me, i'll go quite pink first, run in out of the sun and hide in a dark room for a while, and then i'm nice and golden.....except for the milky band where my bracelet sits as i didn't realise i was tanning >.<

i've already resigned myself to getting cancer of some description, at this rate it's pretty innevitable, i'm just trying to decide which one to go for? i don't smoke so i'll probably get lung cancer ;) either that or something horribly embarrassing like bowel or prostate cancer

I fail to see how anyone would actually be embarrased about having cancer.

Devistated maybe but hardly embarrased even if prostate cancer doesn't have a high fatality rate.

Everything causes cancer so yea, I agree with the above, no matter what you do, if you have even the slightest bit of cancer, you will get it.

I smoke, drink, eat human food (non cardboard) and enjoy the accessories to life, we all live once.

Oh, did I mention I bike so will probably die that way.

So...in the name of fashion, you deliberately damage your skin all over in order to provoke a temporary defensive response by your body in a vain attempt to reduce the damage.

It's like sticking your hand in nettles because the resulting redness is deemed fashionable. Although that won't damage your skin as much.
