Fake Tan

I don't think fake tan is very attractive. Usually you can tell when people have applied it and it looks nasty. Its even worse when they have just tanned their faces and have that line round thier face of white. Pale people ***

As a pale person, I can definately say that we look better (especially to the opposite sex) with a bit of colour.

I regard it much the same way as skin lightening products for people with dark skin. Maybe they work, maybe they attract people who wouldn't be attracted to you otherwise...but what is the underlying message?

tan > good fake tan > pale > bad fake tan

i hate the phrase 'english rose', i.e. i love a good english rose. it makes me want to punch people, reminds me of that **** pete doherty

GF: "St Tropez, Fake Bake and Loreal Ombre Solaire are best tannng products - but for gradual tan use dove or johnsons holiday skin (they''re cheap too!)".

In my opinion fake tan can look ok if it's just lightly applied for a bit of colour - orange tangoed style however looks horrid.
