What is the current best mid priced CPU cooler

By mid priced I mean £20-£30. The rating system on OCUK is useless as it rates every one as 4-5 stars so a little help would be appreciated.

It's to go on an LGA775 socket.

Probably the Titan Fenrir... it's good enough for i7's at 4GHz although apparently can be a bit loud when the fan is on max.

Id still say Sunbeam Tuniq Tower is one of the best 775 Socket Coolers.

You can get em for £30 ish.

Bang per buck, it ain't bad at all - quiet at slow speed, louder when pushed but cools well.

the akasa 965 just the same but cheaper, anyways you could consider the akasa nero or blue aurora

I'g go with the Tuniq Tower too...the only reason I have a Titan Fenrir now is because there's no socket 1366 Tuniq Tower. The Fenrir is a lot easier to install than the Tuniq Tower though!

TITAN FENRIR

if it can run an i7 @ 4GHz on overnight LinX under a cardboard box - then it can handle anything that 775 has to offer

Just buy the titan.
It comes will a variety of mounts so is re usable if you upgrade to i7.
Make sure it will fit in your case first though

It's double his budget - TITAN FENRIR wins in that price range if your case is big enough, and you don't mind a bit of fan noise

The xigmateks can be had for a couple of quid over thirty and are up there with the best.
