I have a Y reg picasso. The other day it died on me.

I have narrowed it down to not sparking. (new or old plugs) Can anyone help figure out what to look for next.

If its run from a distributor, does the HT lead from the coil to the distributor have a spark?

I dont have HT leads I have a ciol pack. Not sure how to test that.

same as you would with a dizzy really. (pull the coilpack, insert the spark plug, ground the plug on something bare metal and turn the engine over)

Ah I see. Done that. Had to use the black jump lead to the sparkplug to engine.

AS I said I tried new and old plugs.

NO SPARK. lol

What next.

Had a little read could a lamda sensor (being broke stop the engine from starting).

Tried 2 old plugs in different slots, and 1 new plug in I think 2 slots. Any way to test the coil pack. Dont want to buy one if that not it.
