I don't know whether this has been done already but as a reminder it's Fathers Day this Sunday (June 21st).

So drag yourself to the nearest Clintons, and spend a few quid on a card for this completely made up 'holiday'.

And yet who of us would dare not to? :D

My advice is to go mad this year & buy him a grands worth of high end components so he can build himself a new system. :D

I'm just waiting for 'Sons Day' to be invented.

My mum wasn't pleased on Mothers Day when i said that the reason i hadn't got her anything was because it's all just a big money making scheme.

I can just imagine getting my dad some PC components for fathers day, he wouldn't have the faintest idea what they where let alone what to do with them!

I'm a way for the week, so he'll have to wait. although I'm never on time with gifts, better late than never lol

Never bothered with this day before tbh.

However, I was making a fence with my Dad the other weekend and we were using a saw he got when he married my Mum 30 years ago. It's blunt. We might as well have used a knife. He loves that saw but he's getting older and it's getting crapper. As his birthday's not for 6 months I'm gonna sort him out a replacement.

I'll get him a card, but as it's my 18th tomorow, after 2 years illegal drinking in town i'm going for a 3 day bender so i'll be too skint for a gift.

Grrr i have no idea what to buy my dad, he has most things. Ill prolly just get him a card and some chocolate

I just know that I'll remember to buy teabags but forget to buy and post a card tomorrow.

My Dads birthday was last week too. Decided to give him £100 to cover his Bday and fathers day.

Im Terrible at buying pressies, so cash is better.

Wow - so many Scrooges and ungrateful whelps here then!

I always make an effort to get my Dad a card and pick something up for him. Be it a voucher or something fun from Firebox I make sure I show him that I care. Heck, even in my poorest student days I'd still pick him up a lottery ticket and scratchy card. Something stinks in society when your kids can't even be bothered to make an effort...
