Well I never received a message from o2 about MMS but I just managed to send one ok

Still nothing from the MMS here. I don't expect that to get working for a few days yet, maybe some mad time tonight like 3am.

I imagine o2 got quite a few texts tonight.

Everything is very snappy for me, loving it so far. Only thing that's got me so far is the fact that when I was on 2.2 and jail broken, I used sbsettings to hide the "stocks" app. When I installed 3.0 I did a full restore and then restored my settings from my last backup. Since I'm not jail broken anymore I usually move all the apps I dont use to page 2 or 3 and on looking for the "stocks" app, its no where to be found! Veird...

If the apps were hidden when iTunes created the backup image then they will still be hidden after you restore it. The method used to hide the apps is built into the OS, if you jailbreak it again you should see them as hidden in SBSetting, it's just Apple never intended anyone but themselves to use that feature.

Took 20 mins and every thing is back.

Many many improvements, love it.

Can't wait until I get my 3Gs now!

Sent my MMS text off about 6:15 and got an welcome MMS reply about half an hour later. Guess its luck of the draw at the moment!

I just did mine thought id wait till later

downloaded in a couple of mins and installed and worked.

I can send MMS currently but not receive. Look forward to playing with it tomrrow as boss is out of the office

Upgrading from developer software

Hi all

I am currently struggling to upgrade my phone through itunes as I have the os 3.0 beta software installed. I have checked the apple website and states you are to download it through itunes but I am unable to get it too work. Do any of you have any ideas ?

Is it just me or did previous updates involve resyncing music back on and this one didnt?

I didn't get any message from o2 over night about the MMS, but i sent one just now and it went straight through (wasn't working last night).

Cut n Paste = great
tethering = will be great

adding a photo to an email reply = fantastic

My 3 fav features are
-Disable repeat notification of SMS
-Disable SMS preview (woohoo)
-Slow scanning through podcasts/long tracks, cannae mind the real term for it

i sent my MMS message to 1010 before i went to bed and woke up to find a couple of messages from O2 at arround 4am.

MMS now working sending and receiving and i can forward messages Brilliant !

My phone also feels a lot quicker opening things.
