This is getting better and better value all the time - that Patriot RAM is supposed to be very good stuff and with XMP too... almost wish I'd waited to get mine now. And you even throw in some AS5 too?! You guys are gonna be keeping Rich busy building with deals like this!

He has gone from being a builder doing bundles a few hours a day to being swamped with bundles. :p

The guys a legend, but I think I may just break him with this one.

can someone answer me a couple of question i have the overclocked bundle and wow i am impressed, firstly is the overclock saved on my board if so where is it or have i got to save it myself if how?

i ran a prime test just a quicke and defo went to 4.2ghz and core 0 went up to 83c and the coretemp went into yellow only on one tho is this ok or is there a problem sorry bit of a newbie to this n all cheers lastly anit the cpu fan ment to speed up i have plugged it in the cpu fan slot is this right?

sorry for the questions i just want to make sure this beast is running ok

Seeing these bundles make me feel sick... I went and bought a very similar system and built it myself, and I have yet to get this rig stable at stock settings!!!

I have even went and purchased a new PSU and more RAM as I thought the problems were down to either of those two components, but I still experienced the exact same issues after installing the new RAM and PSU!!!

I RMA'ed the CPU back to you guys for testing as other people had suggested that it may well be the processors IMC that was dodgy, but there were no faults found with the CPU neither!!!

I have spent over £1700 in total on a rig that doesn't work... if only I had held off for another 2 weeks then I could have purchased this bundle instead...

It's always the same when I upgrade...

i set up a second testing rig on my bench today and plan on doubling my output

i might have to take over the warehouse with testing beds soon!!! :D

Is it possible to get this deal but with the following CPU block for water cooling? I wont need the heatsink you providing.

XSPC Delta V3 CPU Waterblock (LGA775/LGA1366)
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-044-XS&groupid=701&catid=193&subcat=1034

And then I'd like to add another 6gb of the Patriot memory onto the bundle?

Also what speed is the memory running at and the timmings?

memory runs at rated speed
if you call sales they will ammend the order for you - i will test the bundle on air and mount the block for you after [its a speciality of mine]

i cant garuntee anywhere near 4GHz with 12gb of memory though
will be more like 3GHz

Hell they are working you to the bone, it's after midnight. have they chained you to the bench with enough parts around to build next weeks specials!

I'll call tomorrow and amend the order and place it. What's the ETA on delivery? Friday morning if I order tomorrow?

Are you sure you want 12gb? Whats the point?

I run a vmware workstation non stop which is my work PC and spend most of my day on it. Then want other vmwares for development and building clusters. Let alone all the firefox session I have running, video editting, and other programs running.

Plus I am now editting AVCHD video which has prompted me to get more horsepower to chew through that as it takes forever currently.

maybe I'll get the 12gb and if it wont play nice send it back?

To confirm, I've been fidgeting for a couple of weeks now and can get 3.6GHz prime/Intel Burn stable but it fails cold boots. Done about 20 warm ones though. :/

The settings you set on mine work great with it set on Turbo mode at 3150.

The previous 4GHz bundle with 12GB OCZ RAM.

We don't ship any of our overclocked systems or bundles at the very limit, they are always at safe levels for long term use. :)

6GB is normally more than enough, it would be a better option to wait until the 4GB sticks start appearing towards the end of the year and splash out on an upgrade then.

If you ordered today you would probable be looking at a Monday delivery, we have to have a bit of time to build and test each bundle before shipping.

Is it possible you guys can install faster memory? Any 2000mhz that play nicely with this setup? Or have you found it doesnt make a big difference?

Just ordered and changed heatsink to water cooling block. XSPC Delta V3 block.

But!!!! I have no clue what connectors you sell that go with it. I have the "Swiftech H2O-220 Apex Ultima Plus" water cooling kit and site says "Inlet/Outlet Ports: G1/4"" but cant find matching connectors? HELP!!!!

We could install faster memory but it would not have an impact on performance worth its cost. The idea me and Rich came up with for this bundle was to offer the highest level of performance for reasonable money. The amount of research and testing Rich did to make this bundle a possibility is amazing and 1600MHz is the sweet spot. Spend any more cash and you get very minimal gains.
