Suit trousers - Chances of letting them down?

I've got a new suit that fits amost perfectly but the trousers could do with an extra 1/2". There's plently of material on the hem however I don't know if the line of the existing fold will be visible when they're let down.

They're the longest available so it's the only option if I want the extra 'length'

Generally there is no issue - a but of a damp/steamed ironing will get most creases out. I'd get it done.

Should be possible, may take a bit of pressing to loose the fold but thats better than short trousers!
