What should i go for?

my Netgear dongle has recently gone fubar on me and keeps getting a dodgy connection so I'm looking to get something new and preferable as cheap as possible.

I can just about fit a low profile Wireless NIC card in my pc or get another dongle, my PC is usually on all day and I play a lot of online games so It'll be used 24/7, dont want to buy something for it to be dodgy and trip out after hours of use.

Cheers

I'm also looking at this "Linksys Wireless-G USB Network Adapter with RangeBooster" but dont really know what it's for, looks like a wireless network adapter rather than a dongle. however it states

"Simple way to add or upgrade wireless connectivity in your desktop or notebook computer." so I'll give it a shot.

A dongle is just a generic name for a small device that connects to one of your computers ports. Both the devices you're talking about are are wireless network adapters.

My experience with the Netgear dongles is of them running hot and failing. Plenty of people get on with them fine, but I'd go PCI if I had the choice.

thats my problem, I had to take the shell off because their isn't enough ventilation to let the heat escape. It's working better now but still getting dissconnected.

I've ordered the above wireless adapter as I'm fed up of getting dissconnections, It's been fine for 3 years but I think finally it's given up the ghost.
