upgrade my pc

i have got £250 to spend on my computer what do you thing i can upgrade im not a gameing person
case is antec 300
abit ip35 pro exe motherboard
corsair 4gb ddr2 ram
intel core 2 quad pro q6600 2.4oghz
corsair tx 650 psu
gainward geforce 9800 gtx+512m

A good cooler, OC that cpu to about 3.5ghz, everything else looks alright, no real need to upgrade... unless you fancy a SSD for OS install (faster boot up).

Agree, it's a good machine. I'm curious as to why you have such a powerful graphics card if you don't game, unless you do 3D ?

If you don't have a nice monitor, then thats always a good place to invest, it will last a long time. If you do, I'd be inclined to save your money, or SSD as suggested.

never oc before is there a tool to do it or step by step instructions. what do you mean by 3D the computer is hooked up to the tv

If you are not gaming then get a nice Monitor and mouse.

I agree with this, or unless you need more performance get some nice peripherals. Screen, mouse, keyboard, speakers maybe some headphones.

cheers for all this i get a new keyboard and mouse. how can i overclock my ram 5-5-5-18 corsair ddr2 xms2 pc2-6400c5 because im running windows 7 32 bit do you think i should upgrade to 64bit
