What is the best sub £185 graphics card atm?

Needs to be ok for crossfire/sli as i would like to upgrade by adding another in about 6 months.

It' will be running in the following system.
would this motherboard allow sli?

id get a 4970 for £92 if the 185 is for both or a 4990 if its for one. but im not sure if that board is big enough. the pci-e slots may be too close together.

only trouble with the hard dirve is it's only 5400rpm.

and i'd really need a modular power system, as the antec 300 an't the biggest case out there.

I know some people are gonna say AM3 has a better upgrade path...

But this is what I'd buy if I was spending that money - by the time you need to upgrade it AM3 will be but a memory anyhow...

I know theres not much upgrade path - other than sticking in another 260GTX further up the line - but that should last as long as any of the current generation anyhow and give you much better performance than the AM3 setup will either now or in the foreseable future.

Yeah - I'm just not a big fan - I've seen loads of people benching their Phenom II X4 at 3.2-3.4gig + 260GTX SLI against my Q6600 @ 3.0gig + 260GTX SLI and getting 30-35% lower framerates than my setup... and once I start overclocking properly I'm almost doubling their performance in anything CPU dependant like source games.
