Re-playing FF VII **Warning - Spoilers**

i just finished off hojo last night, god damn his third entity was giving me hassle, especially as ive missed all the ribbons so far :rolleyes: and the fact im only just scraping 2000hp :o lol.


on the third disk now. gonna go into the north crater and start levelling.
 
i believe they are level 45 (or around that level i think, i'llcheck when i get in). i have no HP+ materias yet, i should have picked a couple up from cosmo canyon.

it was annoying, the first two hojo's went down with no problems, but the last...dont get me started. he'd just keep using combo, which would do 600-700hp damage (sometimes getting criticals) also putting my chars to sleep and poisoning them >_<

also, when the second hojo died, i had cast Contains Tornado (thinking the previous attack wouldnt kill him), and wiped out one of my characters :/

It is in one of the caves that you go in once you get to the top(ish) of the mountain and you can just run right and go through the wall to get it,

I know they aren't the best instructions but it's all I have :p

Do start a thread when you get into FF8, I was going to follow you playing this when you started but missed out. I want to get on the bandwagon with FF8 :D (one of my faves!)

Im gonna have to dig out the PS1! (although that will be fun, the controller is fail)

I actually did have to do that towards the end of my original playstations life!
Swiftly replaced it with a PSOne after though.
 
The Roth hunt begins :D

I will go back to an old save and take out the weapons when I'm done, but heeding Streeteh's advise which has so far been spot on, I need to see the ending and fight the Roth while he's still a challenge......

Might go grind briefly in the sunken plane first to get 2x cut up to 4 x cut.......

It was a well known problem with the PS1, I had to do that as well with the first one I had until it stopped working all together and I had to buy a new one.
