Hey :)

Basically am looking for a good graphics table that is sub 100 pounds. I am using a PC along with 64 bit vista and Photoshop CS4 (not that probably makes a blind bit of difference).

I don't have one currently that is of any use (the one I do have is pretty useless) so am looking for a few suggestions on models and makes, from someone who can give me a good starting place :D

Many thanks :)

Wacom are the industry leaders by a long shot.

If you want new, look at the Bamboo range. The Bamboo fun includes a mouse, the Bamboo One doesn't. Both get rave reviews across the board and can be had for under £65.

Intuos is great, but pricey.
What ever you get, get A5 at a minimum. :)
Nah, A6 is more than sufficient for everything that isn't electronic faux-media art or tracing. If you're just doing web decoration or photo retouching, A6 is fine :)

The Bamboo - the black one, not the 'One' or 'Fun' - is roughly A6, well under £100 and a very good introduction to the wonderful world of graphic tablets.

Don't bother getting one with a mouse - not only are they cheap afterthoughts limited to tablet area [at least at this budget], but you'll soon realise that the pen is mightier than the mouse for most tasks anyway.

The Intuos tablet are indeed lovely but priced accordingly, aye. As already mentioned, you might be able to snap up a second-hand one, but a quick look on Ebay shows that bidders aren't in short supply. I'd try to resist the temptation to go A4; the larger the tablet, the more forearm movement is required to move the cursor around. Nice when you're e-painting, not so great when doing everyday OS tasks.
