Most likely a load of bull but ive just had a phone call from a business client of mine who has connections in the industry and was told to "fill the car up as there are going to me major disruptions over the next few weeks...*wink wink*"

Normally i dont believe in this kind of crud but considering the situation with those sacked guys its possible something is brewing.

Anyway, has anyone else heard similar?

Because the whole point of forums like this is to discuss things? what a strange comment

I should have enough to finish this semester at Uni and then to get home this summer without having to fill up again, so I'll take it from there.
TBH with the price of fuel, it's probably worth getting a few cheap jerry cans (or whatever their plastic equivalent is called), stocking up, and leaving them in the garage. With the price of petrol where it's headed, it'll probably work out cheaper regardless of whether there's a strike or not.. can petrol be stored indefinitely in plastic containers? (jerry cans = chance of contaminents e.g. rust)
