Updrading my system which is a packard bell imedia x2414, just like to know what card is better. It says on the site that the XFX is also overclocked.
Also buying a 600w PSU.

thanks

Depends which Saphire your looking at, if its the Atomic, its slightly dearer but uses the Vapour-X cooler, which is more efficient and a lot quiter.

If its the XFX XT they both have the same core clock of 1Ghz, as opposed to the rest.
Both have 2 Year warranty.

Personnaly I would look at the Saphire, personal taste, but it is slightly more expensive.

Hi
Well the xfx comes with a free game ( hawx) and the saphire comes with the full version of vantage.
That's about the only difference.

HAWX is very fun, got it with my 4890. One of them games when you have nothing else to do, just go round blowing things out of the sky. It's a lot better with a controller though, i use keyboard/mouse.

On the topic, i would get XFX, although really it won't matter which one you get.

500W is fine aslong as there are enough amps on the 12V rail.

Everyone seems to forget about ampage these days... i was told 500W was fine, but my amps on the 12V rail was only 22A

The card therefore wasn't recieving enough power, making it less stable in games. I got the TX650W on T.W.O offer, it has 52A on the 12V rail. I think its reccomended to have 30+ Amps on the 12V rail for the 4890.

I was think of getting this PSU OCZ ModXStream Pro 600w Silent SLI Ready ATX2 Modular Power Supply how much will it be next week when the offer is over because I don't have the money yet.

for reliability, headroom, ampage, and warranty i would go for the TX650W Corsair.

That will go back to ~ £80 after TWO
OCZ will go back to ~£70 after TWO
