Kane and Lynch underated

I bought it when it was nearly new, but have to say; Yes it was good for a while, but I found it to get pretty boring quickly. I believe I finished it though? :)

There are some really good games at the moment which you can pick up for a dead knockdown price.

I have spotted Dead Space for as low as £13 and Resident Evil 5 for £20. Excellent value considering the replay value offered by these titles. The Darkness for £5-6 is another and there are many more :)

I don't think I even completed the first bit of this game, the camera angles were enraging.

I will get back to it at some time though.

I tried the Demo of this when I first got hands my on PS3, lack of Y invert aggitated me and the over the shoulder shot is just plain wrong.

Disapointing however from the trailer it looked rather good!

I was looking forward to it but the whole farce with Gamespot put me off so I gave it a miss in the end.

The Darkness for £6 is bargaintastic. A game everyone should have.

This.

Playing prototype reminded me that I still havent finished this game.

"How about I show you a magic trick? I am going to put my hand down your throat and pull a rabbit out your ***"

The game was primarily a shooter and im not sure I can remember playing another 3rd person shooter where the basic gameplay mechanics felt so shoddy. If a game only really involves shooting people then you at least have to get that to feel half decent but in K&L it felt really poor. Almost unplayably bad as far as I remember.

It had plenty of ideas that were good.

**Spoilerish?**

I remember playing the scene in the bank where Lynch stays and watches the hostages while Kane goes and opens the safe.

The cops started to pour in and I started plugging them, and my mate came rushing back from the vault to help me and had to ask me wtf I was doing.

On his side of the screen I'd gone mad and started shooting the hostages, but on my screen I was happy enough defending against the incoming cops. Genius idea by the devs, but I guess you'd have to play in coop to even see that.

That said, it was a very sub par game graphically and with the gameplay.

It's all right for cheap if you've nothing else to do, but there are many better games out there.

It didnt get bad scores, it got average scores.

I got stuck trying to kill the guy in the truck before he ran over my daughter, gave up after trying to get past it for the 10th time.

Yeah I thought this was a good game even though it got slated and im sure I paid top whack for it too!

Thats why im still holding some hope for Terminator Salvation game for the 360 which I want to play!

I bought Dead Space brand new for £9 on the high street on Friday from the place that we're not allowed to mention that was doing Guitar Hero World Tour for £19.99.

I thought it was pretty terrible personally, got really bored in less than an hour of gameplay.

Me and my flatmate decided to purchase it on the PS3 for £9...we played through 75% of the game co-op, and got bored. Every level was more a less the same thing...
