Silverstone- Great Britain Grand Prix 2009 - Race 8/17

Hopfully Jenson can get it on the podium or better. I'm expecting him to be a lot better in the race, but that's still a lot of cars to overtake.

I can't understand him half the time and he is too slow. Very slow to react when key moments happen, like when Vettel put in that stonking lap and he went to pole. It must have took Legard about 5 seconds to react and even then he seemed more focused on how Rubens, Button and Webber were doing.

Where is the "Bring back James Allen" petition so that I can sign it?

I hope JB will do better in the race but its looking good for RBR.
 
Leg-end as everyone is calling him, definately needs getting shot of... Flashback to Q3 at Silverstone a few minutes ago? what an eejit.

Well done to RBR though, Vettels fuel load will be interesting :)
 
Maybe FOTA will make BBC get rid of Leg-end if there is a breakaway next year and BBC follow :D

Other than that, should be an interesting race tomorrow

I am getting annoyed withis 'Vettel from Baracello from Webber from...from....from..'

That's doing my nut in more than 'for sure'

Let Anthony Davidson do the commentary too, he is good on a Friday, so is the other dude on a Friday. Could have the 2 Friday guys with Brundle, would be sweet IMO.
 
There is a wonderful irony in Red Bull using a Renault engine and Brawn using a Mercedes engine whilst Renault and McLaren with world championship drivers struggle to get anywhere.
 
Anyone else hating the bbc. there page is full of fia vs fota videos. But no qualifying replay, or Practice/qauli highlights and there usual stuff. or at least I can't see them.
 
Well done to Redbull. They are consistently putting out a fast car in qualifying. All they need to do now is hold it together in the race. The good news for them is that Button is behind them, so its going to be tough for him to do any damage from back there. Really all Vettel needs to do is beat Barrichello (who has shown that BrawnGP once again, have a great car). Barrichello has been poor this year, where he likes playing bumper cars.

I think Button's chances of a win are slim as he isnt known for his aggressive overtaking (a la Hamilton). Button will do some damage during the pitstops, but I cant see him leapfrogging too many cars during those pit stops.

I'm still hoping that Button wins this GP, but I can't see it happening now...especially if it rains.

Urm... no! Max was spot on in all that he said in that interview. He's right in my opinion and as I said a few days ago in the 2010 thread, I'm sure in 2010 F1 will continue much as it has this year.
