Just decided to die on me in the kids PC. Im sure it came with a 10 yr warranty. Wonder if id have much joy with an RMA

yep, use as an old vga card or save the hs for its copper value

Try underclocking it also

RMA my Leadtek 9600GT last month and they ask for a proof of purchase.I think your out of luck here.

Offering long ass warranties then requesting PoP is a bit of an annoyance, no?
Can't they like many manufactureres work the age of card out from serial number?
then again if you bought online theres a slim chance it may show up in your old orders depending on how far back they go.

They wont accept online proof of purchase, only a scan hard copy i tried it when i went to RMA my breaj out box for my x-fi and they rejected the soft copy and requested a scan of the invoice

10 years ago this card would been nasa space age technology

5 years ago it was like a 8800gtx

I still use a plain 6800 now and it runs most games still (just), it has sm3 I think

In Some Caeses ebay purchases do not qualify for RMA

Thats just them being anal tbh.
Print out invoice from the site and then scan it in if they want it that way.
