Couldn't agree more,

I cannot recall a single time I've laughed out loud at any material from a female comedian, be it on a panel show or stand up.

At the moment the new younger 'rising' (I do use the term loosely as I expect not to ever see them again) just seem to be putting on a 'ditsey' act and spewing crap about there obvious lack of a love life.

Jo Brand manages to raise a slight smile once in a blue moon but that is it.

Although, some of the newer male comedians and pretty poor too.

I've no time for spending an hour listening to their drivel about a) the material they've used and I've heard on their respective panel shows or b) their **** poor jokes based on stereotypes of people from their place of birth.

The Hammersmith Apollo is in Birmingham this week and next week moving somewhere else? :confused:

It's a similar format show but it's not in the Apollo and has a lot more comedians doing short stints.
 
Not sure whether she's any good at stand up, but I find Susie Essman from Curb Your Enthusiasm absolutely hilarious. I guess she must be a decent comedienne, as it's improvised.
 
Jo brand is actually quite funny.
If you don't want to see a woman telling jokes then don't, you know who we should ban.
Dane cook, eddie izzard and pretty much all other **** comedians that only dim people find funny. I don't care though, i don't have to see them.
 
There was some Iranian woman on Michael wotsits show last night who is very funny.
Don't know her name but I've seen her several times and she's always made me laugh.
Can't be bothered to look if anybody else as mentioned her.

I don't know Dane Cook but Eddie Izzard is very funny and clever with it.
