The FXX were all built as track cars so your Marcos example is somewhat off. Take a look at the small changes (most important being tyres) Edo made to their FXX to make it road legal. Who knows what they did to MS's car, we will never know but all FXX's were built to be quick on track....and still will be when converted to road use. The main difference will be slick v road tyres, that is where most speed would have been found I suggest.

fxx tyres are road legal from factory

Can I also add incase it hasn't been said: From TG Thread..

Also can I add the point that in the ending credits that Schuey is listed as the special guest.. with the team and The Stig being listed seperately :)

I'm sorry but i'm not convinced.

I suspect there would be a bunch of changes needed to the exhaust system to make it road legal for both noise and emissions requirements. Standard Enzo doesn't make 800+ bhp.

Anyway it was still slower round the track than the Caparo T1, which is fully road legal from the factory and didn't have the advantage of a multiple F1 champion at the wheel.

The standard FXX makes 800bhp, Endo's road going version makes 880bhp after ECU tweaks...

The FXX with the Evoluzione package (which was fitted to all cars, I think?) actually developed 860BHP. I'm not sure if Edo's car was based on this though?

That thread I read a week or so ago on Pistonheads was right then.

Some guy had a mate at Top Gear who said he saw Schumi burning round the track in an FXX. As Clarkson said 'Those internet geeks' :D

I think they will take it down next week. They have put something around before put it on the board then took it down. For that reason it wouldnt get over a speedbump.

I guess they didnt because MS was there.

Doesnt the Enzo have a hydrolically lifting nose?

And the thing they took down before was the Caparo T1. If the FXX is based on the Enzo and the Enzo is allowed on the board, the FXX should be fine.

Why no actual hot lap in the Liana for the F1 drivers board? Probubly due to all the legal contract stuff around MS that means hes only allowed to driver cetrain cars on TV (see Race of Champions).
