I have just bought this monitor from the DELL website, i am wondering to as if it will come in the a01 or later revision.

P.S. How do i check the revision
P.S.2. Is there a way i can update the revision through downloads.

The latest revision of this screen is A02, but has not been out long, only a few weeks I believe, I would think it is unlikely that this will have feed through here in the UK, so I would think yours will be an A01 revision.

I would think it will be on the box (that the monitor come in), or on the back of the screen down by the inputs etc..

No, there is no way you can "update" revision A01 to A02, by a download.
 
The revision number should be on the dell product page. Failing that, the revision number Is on the back of the monitor, on the same sticker as the serial number.

As far as I know dell have only released two versions of that monitor, A00 and A01. I believe the change to A01 alleviated some input lag problems.

I am pretty sure that it is not possible to update the firmware revision, if there was a hacky way to do it, it would definately invalidate the (awesome) dell warrenty, so very
much not recommended.

Edit: Ah, a02 released, check your sticker and see if you got lucky.
