Aye. Will be good, tho only select ppl who agree no special fighting game hardware or macros. Keyboard (urgh) or a normal but nice joypad with no auto functions.

That include arcade sticks?

This happened when the game first came out on the consoles, people were obsessed with arcade sticks being miles better than pads, many went out and forked out £150 for the top of the range stick. They then quickly realized that a arcade stick is not an instant win button, it just means you'll be able to play in an arcade without any control issues.

Meh, either way, i'll stay with my stick and play with other people

Can someone with 4Ghz Core2Quad with a single 4890 bench the same settings as me (1680 x 1050 4xAA 4xAF VSync off) please. I want to see if it's worth getting one to replace this 4850 CF


(normally there would be 8Gb in this particular rig but I had to take it out whilst I'm building/testing another one)

why do ppl show their stats with 4xaa or 8aa when it should be 16xqaa! even the stats with high fps could be using model low and af off!!not a proper bench imo!!!

Because I can see no visual difference in 95% of all games between 4 MSAA and 16QCSAA ( or any aa level above 4 multisamples). The biggest difference is between no AA and 2x AA, there's a slight difference between 2 and 4x but between 4 and 8x I can't really notice it any more. Using more AA then needed is pointless because it kills performance while offering no visual improvement.

Mine has everything totally maxed, 8x is the max you can get in game with ATi.

This game is optimized for Nvidia cards probably due the what the arcade system is built on.

ordered this, looks sooo good now i just need to find a good quality fight stick that does'nt need to be shipped from another country and definetly works on pc...

Ps3 is Nvidia and Xbox is Ati so imo it runs well on both.

Err.. why should it be 16xqaa, who will play it at those pointless settings? Maxed to me is the highest normal sttings the benchmark will allow you to run.

Just ran this on my 50" plasma (i'm getting sick of seeing that typed now but I can't help it) at the following settings...

*1900*1080
*E6600 @ 2.4ghz (fanless)
*4870 1GB @ stock
*8xAA
*16xAF
*Everything to max and ink on

...and got a smidgeon under (58fps or something) 60fps average. Words simply cannot express how farkinffurking AMAZING it looked especially with vsynch. The picture was so pefect I thought I was going to get a fireball to the face.

**** me I think I need to go lie down, it's not healthy to love a TV this much...

I am so going to buy this game.

Deep blacks making things look more solid & not translucent.
No smearing of fast moving textures & after ghosting..
I could end up doing more gaming on my 50" Pioneer than on my 30" monitor.

I think the ATi cards can actually only do 8xAA max, the higher settings are only in CCC and are not true AA settings like 8xAA etc... That's how I've heard it anyway don't quote me on it. I might have to get this game, looks pretty fun, I'm not much of a gamer anymore and am very fussy as to what I play, only thing I play now is TDU

V-sync off and everything running on low settings

v-sync off, everything on high settings with C8xAA on (for some reason it would not let me run the demo with AA below 8x :S

This bench shows just how useless my X2 4200+ really is, I get the same FPS on medium detail as I do on highest.
