**Wimbledon 2009, June 22nd -July 5th

Kendrick was a good laugh there, played out his skin but must have knew it wasnt going to happen for him, so made the best of his appearance in centre court.

Murray wins his first but all credit to Kendrick, especially the dive at the end to make the crowd cheer, good game.

That interview with Keothavong was unbelievable.
"I dont mean to make accusations" (i love the way people start a sentence by saying there not going to do something but do anyway)
But dont you feel you've let a lot of people down.

You might have well just told her she played **** and was a disgrace.
Then to have the camera shoved up your nostril as your about to burst into tears. Shocking.

I haven't seen it yet myself - who was the interviewer?

Yeah, thats a pretty shocking question to ask really.

I was half expecting the interviewer to be John Inverdale.

Hey guys. I just got back and I thought I'd give you an update. (especially for those who want to go and haven't got tickets)

I left my home and caught the train to kings cross at 07.44

Arrived at Wimbledon at 9.15 and was put on a field with 13,000 people on it, i was there early and number 10,388 :(

Queded until 13.30 to get in and watched a few games including some of Gonzalez and Stoop

At 15.30 we queued up for re-sale ticket and 2 and a half hours later i was in center court at the start of the second set for Murray.

So all in all 6 and a half hours queuing.

I paid £20 for a ground pass and £5 for the center court re-sale ticket

My face is so red its not funny :(

Didn't realise there was so much queing actually involved

Did ya have a good time though mate thats the main thing? :) Glad ya got into Centre Court though for the Murray match.

So guys a good few matches today and from scanning the results etc of previous rounds I have come up with a 14 player accumulator :)

Tommy Robredo @ 1/7
Fernando Verdasco @ 1/7
Novak Djokovic @ 1/20
Roger Federer @ 1/50
Philipp Kohlschreiber @ 1/8
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga @ 1/12
Robin Soderling @ 1/12
Tommy Haas @ 1/4
Bob Bryan/Mike Bryan @ 1/33
Maria Sharapova @ 1/6
Nadia Petrova @ 2/9
Victoria Azarenka @ 1/20
Elena Dementieva @ 1/5
Marion Bartoli @ 1/10

I'm not terribly convinced on both Sharapova and Solderling but checking out results and opponents there is certainly a good chance.

Just stuck £5.00 down for a £23.50 return.

This is the problem with tennis, need to make a lot of bets to get any decent returns.

Well aside from looking like a strawberry it was a decent day out. I was happy to see Kendrick was actually a very good player and it wasn't the whitewash everyone was expecting.

Queuing was hell but tbh Wimbledon staff do it very well, it's very organized and works as efficiently as possible.

Shame the prices were extortionate, £4 a pint, £4.50 for a baguette £3.50 for a hot dog/slice of pizza.

All in all i spent

£20 = Ground Pass
£5= Center Court Re-sale
£4= Pint
£2= Sausage Roll
£4 Return bus from Wimbledon station

£35

If I'd have done it again I'd have paid £40 for a center court ticket and turned up at 11ish, walked straight through the turnstiles. Would have saved my face from getting so burnt and queuing for 6 and a half hours.

Big shock to see Safin go out, makes murray's run a lot easier imo.

Looking forward to today :)

mmmm Dulko

She is playing really well though! some great placements on her shots for a woman so small! (Her last service game for example)
