** PRICE DROP ** Razer Mamba Wireless Laser Gaming Mouse £94.99 inc VAT

Nope, Razer really is crap I had the Lachesis Mouse cost me about £50 and kept 'jumping/skipping' on every surface i used it on, so thinking it must be the table, tried a mouse mat, I then tried my old Logitech G5 which was perfect on every surface, I then stupidly bought a Razor approved mouse mat, costing around £30 and still did not work.

My headphones are in bits, I had the cheek of using them for their intended purpose and they fell apart after 4 months, the sound card was so tight fitting, it took 2 people to get it in the case, and after all that the drivers were worse than useless, advertised as 3D sounds etc ... was a lot worse than EAX.

If one product was faulty fair enough, but 3 useless products.... that is unlikely to be an anomaly. Would never buy into the 'performance' crap Razor produces, its just cheap stuff marketeted to death!

you must be very unlucky got both logitech gaming mice and razer on my two pcs. prefer the razers. had four and everyone has took a lot of punishment (kids :D) . i guess its just preference really. if people ask which mouse to get razer or logitech i will always ask how you hold the mouse when gaming.flat hand for razer , tennis ball grip for logitech.

as for rokatt kones lol just lol . my mate has replaced three of them and two of them were in the last two weeks!!!

So you had one Razor Mouse & the everyone that had the Jumping skipping issue unlike all the others & you concluded that the rest of the range must have the same issue.

Everything else you bought is you not doing your research & getting hyped.
The only other product that is really any good Razer Carcharias Stereo Headset, way overpriced but a decent head set with good build quality, i had the opportunity to try out a friends.

I've had the Mamba for a couple of months and its excellent, Ive no complaints with the mouse. I do agree that its a bit OTT on price.

Well worth it ;)

I bit the bullet and bought one last week as my Lachesis kept playing up... I put my trust in razer!

I feel a bit dirty inside but this is the only mouse I've owned since the MX518 that I really like so IMO money kind of well spent.

Why not just buy 4 MX518 mice with the £95?

Remember buying a Razor Boomslang 2000 dpi for £70 in it's flashy biscuit tin about 7 year ago. Tried it and thought it was rubbish and put it in the cupboard for a few years and sold it a couple of years later. Not only did it give me cramp / locked fingures because of it's design, it also squeeked and skipped. I ended up going back to my Logitech Pilot mouse. Lesson learnt. These mice are aimed at, lets be frank... gullible people thinking it will improve their game ten fold. Biggest waste of money i've spent on a mouse.

Of course this isn't Ocuk fault. It's Razor trying to make a packet from the so called pro gaming community and it's up and coming talent, be it what ever game.

I have a Razor Copperhead and its the best mouse I have ever used! Had it for years and years and love it to bits. Each to their own I guess!

I have the razor diamondback and its never let me down since i got it about three years ago or so.

So razor do make good mice in my book. I did try the Lachesis but I didnt like the feel of it compared to the diamond. I didnt like how the whole thing was one giant button, I couldnt click it as fast as I could with the diamond.

Logitech MX518 > Anything by Razer.

The only half-decent mice by Razer (IMO) are the DeathAdder and Habu. The rest seem to be designed to be unbelievably awkward to use.

I spent £80 on a Razer mouse back in the days of ball mice

They feel cheaply made to me :( Which is ironic because they are the most expensive mice...

I know what you mean about the cheap feel with Razor, the mamba is the first Razor mouse that i have owned that does not feel cheap.
