Sttttuuttt Stuuuttttttteeeerrrr Stuttering...

Well I made sure my sata cables were all plugged into the HDD's and on the board, which they were. I messed around with CCC, turning Catalyst A.I. off then back on and I made sure it was on the box setting which it was. Loaded up CSS and it was absolutely fine.

Can't work it out but I'm not complaining. I may end up getting a better HDD for OS/Games though. Any ideas what could have caused it? Faulty HDD or SATA inputs on mb? They do move a bit when you put sata into them.

At least I know the card is ok because if it does stutter in other games I now know it will be caused by drivers, game issues and not my card.

Likewise i like to know the cause.
I pulled back on my last comment as to what i thought the cause was as not to drag things out seeing as all is well.

The A.I can disable crossfire on the 4870x2 if set to disable & it looks like the A.I was at fault & stuck in off mode.

See if the Crossfire-X logo appearers in CCS by turning on show Crossfire-X logo in Crossfire-x supported games from the CCC taskbar menu.

I still don't get how it could have affected things. I did put the latest drivers on though as before I did a format I had drivers for gpu dating back to Feb.
