PSU choice - Corsair vs OCZ

Thanks for the replies ... I think I get the picture!

However, I think most people misread my original question ... I'm finishing off an upgrade process on 2 PCs and already have the Corsair which was in my main PC and bought the OCZ (as it was a TWO) for 2nd-ary PC ... so I already have both. At same time bought a new case for main PC with its old case going to 2nd-ary PC. For simplicity I initially didn't bother to move the Corsair PSU to the new case but having read all this I may swap them now ... however, at moment I'm busy sorting out old 2nd-ary PC (an aged shuttle box) with win7 to see if its quiet enough to use as an occasional PC attached to TV in living room ... aren't upgrades fun!

Continuing the Corsair love in...

HX750 and HX850 have just been awarded GOLD certification. (My HX850 should arrive today!).

I would doubt it's worth the hassle of swapping them over tbh! I like my Corsair HX620 but i wouldnt have bought it if i'd known the RMA was to The Netherlands (fingers crossed for never needing it)!

Another for Corsair!

My HX 620w has been great. Managed to drop a screw between the fan grills, but seems to be ok still!

Oh & here is my opinion - neither! :p

Seasonic - UK RMA, hope none of you owning a Corsair or OCZ PSU have to return them to the Netherlands. :( ;)

Must admit though buying a new PSU the Corsair HX 750/850's with 7 years warranty is somewhat hard to step away from.

The money saved by getting a Corsair 850W over the Seasonic 850W would cover 2 RMAs

Well the Seasonic does have the size advantage, it don't fill up you house, or case, and may produce less noise. :)

So the Seasonoic is the one to go for if you don't have much room in you case.
