Can you paint a motherboard?

Hi,
I was wondering if i can somehow paint a motherboard, for example, if i bought a Gigabyte UD5 could i make it look like a Foxconn? like the colours, black and red... so on :p
If you can paint a motherboard would would you use?

This came up a while back....the answer iirc was that yes, it is possible, but it's a very tricky thing to do and obviously your warranty goes straight out the window.

It'd be far easier just to buy a Foxconn, there are quite a few available now (...and they have me reaching for my wallet, because damn, they are sexeh :D).

i remember seeing a motherboard when someone drew over all the circuits with UV reactive pens that look pretty awesome and didnt cause any damage...

As somebody already said just buy a foxconn

just get a foxconn I don't like gigabytes colours tbh way to nright so I just buy ROG asus or foxconns, easier+ you won't have a dead mobo also less time consuming and not as harsh on the wallet, as you gotta buy the paints and if your board dies you gotta buy a new one
 
Motherboard colour schemes are mostly so bad, excluding most of the asus range.

I mean, the gigabyte mobos, they're baby blue...! And the biostar are just awful!


Bring on custom colours!
 
The colours may be bad, but who actually looks at their mobo all the time? Unelss u have a windowed case, in which case, get out more, lol.

Nah joking I used to have one. But spraypainting is doable, jsut make sure its non-conductive obviously. Dont cover teh heatsinks etc.
