Hi all,

Are there any other Foxconn Renaissance owners out there with good overclocks willing to share some settings, I am going to see how much more I can get out of this C0 920

I can get 175 x 20 = 3500Mhz

But it wont go about 180 fsb as it fails to post.

Cheers

After a bit of fiddling I managed to get a stable 170 bclk + turbo = 3.6ghz on default voltages.

Not bad for a c0 :)

Still cant get past the invisible 180 barrier though.

Still no luck with getting past 180 bclk it seems that when I try it I get long continuous beeps from the motherboard which normally indicates a memory problem although all I am trying to do is run the Corsair XMS3 1600 memory at 1600!

Most bizarre...

Hi,

I don't have the foxconn renaissance, but have you tried updating to the latest bios?

There's a surprising difference between windows 7 and vista on your 3d mark results, maybe I should be spending more time on my windows 7 beta install :-)

Yes I updated a couple of weeks ago to the latest P13 bios, but foxconn aint no Asus! :)

Yes I was very surprised by the difference between vista and Windows 7, with exactly the same driver version and hardware the Windows 7 OS pulls away by 2000 points which are all in the graphics card performance.

My 920 needs no extra volts from default until it hits the this 180bclk barrier then I get long continuous beeps from the motherboard and blank screen.

Maximum overclock: Turbo off

BClock: 177
CPU Multi: 20 (3540)
QPI Multi: 18 (3186)
UnCore Multi: 18 (3186)
Mem Multi: 8 (DDR3-1416) Left on 1066 + set voltage to 1.65v

Any ideas?
