Winrar work for MAC?

I need to convert Rar files from a torrent ive downloaded but cant seem to install Winrar is there an equivalent

I use Unrar X.

Stuffit Expander seems to have been taken over by a company only interested in bloatware

WinRar does have a mac osx version available to download from their site. However, it's command line only.

is it me or is stuffit expander now bundled with os x?

its not in the applications folder but it does seem to be there in the open with dialogue when you download stuff?

I think it's a cut down version of Stuffit. I've tried the full version of stuffit and it's a bit bloaty. My archive tool of choice is now Betterzip which isn't free but does have a free trial period. It works very well.

I've been using RarMe 0.5, but will look into UnRarX

I use the non-bloaty bundled version of Stuffit. Works perfectly fine for me.

It doesn't handle .RAR files.

I've used 7zip in the past, but as I mentioned ^ I like Unrar X
