Crackdown

I think I may need to play this tonight, been meaning to go back to try and get some more achievements and the final 10 orbs or so, assuming I can find the beggars! Crackdown is definitely one of the most fun games on the 360, and I'm really looking forward to 4-player co-op in the sequel.

It's most fun when you've got 4 star agility and can leap huge heights/distances. I love jumping around the rooftops.
 
This thread has rekindled my love of Crackdown, i've just checked and I have a load of achievments left to get :o
Most of them need gang members tho, is there a way to get the gangs to reappear without starting a new game? (it's a long time since I played)
 
You can repopulate the game with the gangs when you have finished the game (by eliminating the three kingpins)
 
ah right, i did finish the game (think it was about a year ago :o) but couldn't remember the gangs coming back, thanks for that ;)

Gah, has anyone got the Street Racer Elite Achievment? seems a lot of work but 150 GS

Is this irreversible or can you do this before each time you play the game?

Just completed the game last night, after owning it for two and half years. All abilities up to 4 star, apart from the driving skill, and have loads of Agility and Hidden Orbs to find. May return to it one day to complete those.

The last thing I did was climb the Agency Tower, which is an amazing experience. You really sense the fact you’re climbing this extremely tall structure.
 
I climbed the agency tower last night for a 2nd time, and ended up finding one agility orb I'd somehow missed the first time, as well as a hidden orb. Good fun climbing it, did it much faster this time around as well.

Still have 15 ruddy agility orbs left to find now though, with no idea where they could do. I'll probably need to scour the edges of the maps as I think I've searched nearly everywhere else.
 
I'd consider using the maps if I didn't already have 485 of them, though it may prove useful if I can figure out exactly which ones I already have.

Tbh it might be easier to just delete my save and start completely afresh, it would make finding all the orbs so much easier.
 
I have just started playing crockdown again but i am getting lots of issues with the streaming. As i move around the world i get laods of random low detail polygons.. And the high detail ones dont seem to stream in..

Its all started happeneing since i installed my 120GB hardrive. Is there some sort of cacheing issue on the HDD that i need to delete? .. as it pretty unplayable at the moment.

As for maps, ditto to Davey, maps are great if you don't have any, but if you have most of them following a map is nigh on useless. Besides, to me, following a map to find 500 orbs is the very definition of tedious and I just wouldn't find that fun.
 
Don't know if this still works -

Go to the system blade and then select memory.

Press Y on the HD symbol and then press X,X,Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X,X. Once you do this a messsage will appear saying: Do you want to perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices?

Performing this function will also clear any software updates.
