Anyone you know got the Flu yet?

Just curious, how many people here know anyone who has had or has currently got Swine flu?

Looking at the numbers, it seems pretty soon we'll all be knowing people who've caught it.

I don't know anyone yet, but not many people have this flu yet I thought, is it not around 3000-4000?

One of my neighbours has it, the secondary school she works at has been shut down apparently.

My partner works at a local GP as a HCA, and two of the doctors are off with suspected swine flu...

10 people at Kent University near my house have it apparently. I have the symptoms of it, I think I may be coming down with it =/

Well, probably better catching it sooner, rather than later.

More resources now to treat you, hospital beds etc... Might be troublesome come the winter when 500,000 people have it.

Apparently, a vaccine for it won't be ready until September and even then it's going to be in limited supply.

Question be asked, if you catch el' piggy flu will you be going to the doc/hospital? Will you be getting a vaccine if you don't to be safe anyway?

Or will you be like the rest of the sane populous and using old fashioned flu remedies like chicken soup and bed rest?

I might have . My son might also have it as he brought flu home from school and then I started showing the symptons yesterday.

Also 10 students at our citys uni have it including a teacher so I guess its down in devon.

Tbh my son and I have just got on with it and hes feeling a lot better than the other day. But my folks told me off saying we shouldve gone to the doc's and got it ruled out.

This is a really odd thing this virus. They seemed so "prepared" for it.

I just hope it fades like sars and whatnot.

The UK has bought enough vaccines for the whole population..

We have had a lot of extra things bought in cos of this. Work in Devon for the NHS.
