Castle Crashers!

Oh my sweet Jesus... This is what gaming is about. I've got a modest collection of games on my 360: Call of Duty 4, World at War, GRiD, Bioshock, Saints Row 2, GTA:IV, Mass Effect, Fallout 3 and a couple of others... But I haven't had the urge to pick up and play for a while now. I knew that Castle Crashers had four player co-op and I rather enjoyed the demo. So I bought the full game and played it with two other friends and holy hell, what a game!

I can't remember the last time I've had such a marvel of fun in any game, regardless of platform, genre or who I'm playing with. It's just epic fun. Great looking, funny, very satisfying attacks, lots of variety, nice increase in difficulty, it just ticks all of the right boxes.

Has anyone else played this game, does anybody else enjoy it as well?

Awesome game, played it round a friend's non stop for nearly 24 hours a while back

Wish they'd release it cross platform

This and braid (which came out roughly the same time iirc), totally eclipsed all of the retail games at that time in my opinion.

A friend bought this when signed into his account on my xbox - but the full game was unlocked on my gamertag and I've completed it many times - not on the hardcore mode though.

What's wrong with classic gameplay presented in a modern way?

Collecting all the pets and weapons was great fun for me.
