Setanta has gone but ESPNAmerica is now free to air on freeview

Just noticed this tonight and was actually quite enjoying the baseball game that was on even though I'm a bit hazy on the rules. Anyone know if this channel shows anything other than baseball as I checked the listings on their website for the next week and that seems to be pretty much their core sport of choice. There was a couple of NHL shows on too. Or is it just the baseball season ATM?
 
Baseball each team tends to play ~6 days a week from April until the regular season finishes in October. Hence why there's so many games.
 
Its cool that theres something on this channel but it reminds me how much I hate American sports. Rounders isnt a very compilcated game but the obsession with millions of pointless stats and the fact that 75% of the channel air time is actually adverts make it impossible to follow.

I dread to think what they will do with the soccer they now have. The picture quality will be better than Setanta but i'll have to watch it on mute.

I got decent picture. It just froze everytime something exciting happened. I don't think I got to see a ball cross a goal-line the whole time I subscribed to them on Freeview.
 
Sadly the picture on mine is as bad as setanta was, nothing but green blocks and strange noises, same with chanell 5 and 5 us.:(

Is this on sky or freesat? If you have poor reception on multiple channels, it means you have a poor dish installation. Or a dish installation which has moved slightly. You need to get it realigned.
 
Not free on Virgin (tenner a month) whilst on Sky it is part of the news package which is only a quid a month. Luckily I am with sky. Gonna sit down and watch the Red Soxs now. :D

Its on freeview from an aeriel, a set top box on one telly and a built in tuner on my 32 inch lcd, i used to get a pretty decent picture but its got worse over the last few months, ive checked the aeriel and its fine.

I used to love my Sunday and Wednesday night MLB fix with those two - really missed them this season but at least we can get to watch it now.

Watched Metz v Yankees last couple of nights.
