Online Clothes Store...

OH GOD, TAKE COVER

Look into these brands!

Fred Perry
Superdry
Diesel
Franklin and Marshall
Levi
Calvin Klein
Ted Baker

I'm not saying you haven't heard of these brands but listing G-star and Bench in the same thread is bad! :(

Please tell me you don't have any Henleys

No, I don't. I don't have any designer labels at all. Most of my stuff is from Topman or Petroleum etc...

I love how if you know your designer labels or you don't, either way there'll be someone to put you down.

Ah sorry then.

I'm no fashion master or anything but here is what I'd advise rather than buying Bench or G-star

Buy 3 nice pairs of jeans (will cost around 50/60 each at least) in different shades and a nice belt ( I got a nice penguin one from TK-MAX for £10)

Then just buy t-shirts and polo shirts :)

Nice jeans last ages and look really nice, such as

http://www.asos.com/Levis-501/Levis...5052&sh=0&pge=1&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Marlon

I usually spend around £80 a month of my cash on clothes, that means 1 pair of jeans or 2 t-shirts.

Here is the last item i bought ;)

http://www.asos.com/Diesel/Diesel-T...0=156&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Black

G-Star jeans are quite nice =]

**lol wtf? Fred Perry is so much more 'chav' than G-Star the price comparison between the two is huge. There's a new store opened in Liverpool one which sells a lot of G-Star jeans all marked £150+ maybe they are overpriced but there certainly aiming towards a market that Fred Perry isn't.**

I don't think I've ever spent more than £40 on a pair of jeans.

I spend more on footwear than anything else.

Last thing I bought was this pair of jeans...

I bought them instore though for £25.

Look OK and don't break the bank.

So there's one brand on my extensive list you disapprove of? Hardly a surprise :o

Fred Perry is a vintage brand, which is unfortunately worn by a few chavs.

Nothing like Henleys or Lyle and Scott (who make nice clothes but i wouldn't go near them :( )

Footwear is always going to cost more ;) Trainers = £50 +

Wouldn't you rather spend £25 more and have a really nice pair of jeans instead of an OK pair ?

I know i would but maybe that's just me

Looking at the more expensive jeans I just can't justify the price difference.

It's like buying an Audi A3 over a Seat Leon just because of the name when, really, they're the same where it matters.

Fair enough, to me one looks OK whereas the other pair looks really nice ;)

I'm not saying you can't get a bargain but the brands i listed generally have a few pairs of jeans that will appeal to the majority which saves time searching around for a nice cheaper pair.

What are you doing up this time btw!? Please tell me you're not up out of choice?

I have work at 9 :(

I get random bouts of insomnia. :(

Haven't been to sleep yet.

Around Nottingham 90% of people I see wearing G-Star are pretty chavvy and I've hardly ever seen chavs wearing Fred Perry. I only see people who are into Indie wearing that.

I wont' say that G-Star is chavvy because they're pricey and chavs can't afford that! They have quite expensive stuff and not those cheap tees with the massive G-Star branding slap-banged left, right and centre on them. I think they're in the same league as Diesel, D&G (not Dolce and Gabbana btw), Energie and definitely above Fred Perry!

What's D&G if not Dolce & Gabbana?

Honestly, I was unaware of any difference

Yes. it's the same brand but it's how they market their brand, D&G is high street fashion usually "cheap" and "affordable", Dolce Gabbana is much more expensive and usually high fashion. The same goes for Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani of which the latter is more "affordable" or Roberto Cavalli and Just Cavalli (the word "Just" somehow says it all) :)
