263hp from a 2 litre n/a 4 cylinder unit, or 131.5 hp/litre, or (quite interestingly I think) 65.75 hp/piston
And it wouldn't surprise me if that's beaten by something else.

As far as I know - the UK model was 240bhp
The Japanese model had a high compression ratio
This is the exact same budget i've got for my next car in a couple of months.
I'm pretty certain i'm going with the RX8.
It's quick, grown up, looks great, 4 decent seats, interior is nice etc. The only downside is the petrol really.
