Car abbreviations, do they annoy you!?

no harm in them at all. some are stupid, some sound odd, but cant say any really annoy me.

X for MX5? never heard that!

yeah, thats true. if it was put in context you would know they wanted a williams renault, but just saying a willy is silly!

Just the other day a Corsa driver sniggered as he drove past, I naturally caught him up and passed him a copy of my most recent profit and loss accounts, that soon shut him up.

I often wonder this about the '987', most people that call it a girls car haven't driven one or the 'poor man's porsche' is uttered from corsa/saxo/mondeo other average car drivers, where did this all start?
